Rook is a PropTech company focused on home affordability. We are building a modern real estate platform with innovative new ways to help people get into homes, build communities, and participate in the sharing economy. Our mantra is shared value between homeowners and investors and we pursue our mission with vigor. We leverage the best of traditional finance with the methodologies of Defi to serve home-seekers, home-owners, and investors.

We take our people seriously. The Marketing Director is a key position to Rook’s scaling. As Marketing Director, you’ll work closely with the Founders, with the Data Team, with the Technology Team, and with Partners to create world-class experiences, digitally and physically.

About you

To excel at this role, you’ll need to be:

1. A strategic problem solver who can use data in conjunction with art to create and execute Rook’s marketing strategy.

2. Experienced in working with agencies, partner networks, and other third parties to execute omni-channel marketing campaigns.

3. A great communicator who can translate complex products and services into customer-friendly language and who can disambiguate and simplify complexities.

4. A detail-oriented, project manager who can keep multiple marketing threads moving along a clear timeline

5. Skilled at creating marketing messaging and copy that correspond to specific audiences and mediums.

6. A master at being the Voice-of-the-Customer while also maintaining fidelity to Rook’s mission.

7. Open to change and ambiguity and able to bridge ideas and execution.
